Earlier this year, I’ve decided to make a conscientious effort to spend my time wisely in response to the word of God and the season that we are in. Since the 21 Day Fast with the Burning Hearts Community, I’ve made a deliberate choice to pull myself out from every social media platform. Instead of endless scrolling and overextending my time trying to create content to upkeep my account, I’ve decided to redeem this time to re-focus.
Being an essentialist, I aim to invest my time, talent and treasure into 3 main focus only. I would consider these 3 main focus the core of my life.
家 | Family
I’ve concluded that for the Body of Christ to be healthy, it starts in our home. If all that I am labour for is to present Jesus, a Bride who is wholehearted in her love, it has to start with my family. Without it, everything that I am calling people will be fluffy words without authority. Until the word become flesh, it holds no power.
Both Constance and my commitment in this season are to live a life worthy of imitation for my child and the community (BH & Local Church) God has entrusted to us. Instead of throwing the responsibility for the various ministry in Church to do the work of discipleship, we have taken it upon ourselves to carry the mandate of Christ in Matthew 28:19-20 to disciple our family to serve others in the Church.
族 | Community
After pioneering and building Burning Hearts for the last 8 years, the Lord has entrusted a spiritually family, a like-minded community I can run with. Over the years, I’ve tried to do many things because of selfish ambition and the fear of missing out (FOMO). Until one day in the prayer room, the Lord convicted my heart of my selfishness and inadequacy to embrace leadership. My response to the Lord is to commit to the people He has put in front of me and pour into their lives faithfully.
Somehow in that commitment, we see the Lord led this community in a sovereign way. Everything shifted for us since 2018 as we set our hearts to contend for the understanding of end-times and the gospel through the place of prayer and fasting with the Word. We find ourselves being caught up in a holy swirl of experiencing God’s emotions for Israel’s salvation in a profound way.
With a sense of urgency, we know God is in the midst of tailoring a corporate assignment for this community that has to do with the Salvation of Israel. As long as the Lord will, my family and I are fully committed to focus our time to invest into this tribe of people until everyone flourish and fulfil our role in the Body of Christ in light of His coming.
使 | Message
The world that we are living in today is no longer the same. Beyond disruption, we are in a global transition. I believe in the next few months and years, bible verses and prophecies that point to The Day Of The Lord will unfold before our eyes. These prophecies aren’t just predictions of events, but an unveiling of His zeal and desire for a people He longs from eternity past. God is looking for messengers who will bear witness of His desire and stand with Him in His will for humanity’s redemption.
I make this the core assignment of my life:: to be a messenger who will go before Jesus to prepare people to embrace all that comes with the second coming of Jesus instead of resisting Him.
Over the last years, this is what I’ve been giving myself to tuning my ears to search Him out through the scriptures with the help of the Holy Spirit and a community understand them rightly in the midst of all the noise and lofty opinions of man. The core team and I got to dig deep into Matthew 24-25 (Jesus’ summary of all the prophets regarding the end-times) over the last 9 months every week. It’s been transformative, and the words of Jesus became our confidence despite the challenging time.

Apart from the BH Community, I am working toward creating multiple platforms to engage others outside social media. I hope to start a conversation around the theme of the end-time church and the gospel over podcasting through BH and create a consistent writing platform on my website. So pray for me that God will give me words to write and share.
I intentionally separated the “Writing” from the “Personal” because they serve 2 different purposes. The “Personal” space gives me more room to share my personal thoughts and life happenings. Whereas the ”Writing“ space enables me to be focused on the subject matter without wasting words on my personal thoughts.
The goal of this writing platform isn’t so much to attract a following but for my own discipline of writing. If anyone who chances upon it is encouraged or built up by it, it’s a bonus for me.
