I am experiencing deep anguish over both 13 years old boy who was murdered and the 16 years old boy who did the unthinkable. I do not know them, yet it wasn't an unfamiliar emotion for me. I felt the same anguish in a dream (Read Below) that I had 7 years ago that led me to call for a solemn assembly in 2015 (Josiah Assembly). It was an urgent call to consecrate a generation to save a generation in our jubilee year by making a covenant with God’s ways & word as Josiah did with Israel.

哀 | Lament | 1 June 2021

After living through a year of the pandemic-stricken world, Churches worldwide have put in tons of resources to preserve their labour in ensuring our congregations remain intact. We have grown agile in adapting to the ever-changing restrictions and measures. Interchanging onsite and online services with efficiency has now become a part of our new norm. We have somewhat managed to stabilize the disruption, easing our people to cope with the present situation, hoping to return to "Pre-Covid" days.

Many of these Pastors and their staff team had worked hard in managing this global crisis. Everything was necessary on a pastoral level, and we must appreciate the gift God has put in our midst to navigate through one of the worst pandemics in all of our history.

Earlier this year, I’ve decided to make a conscientious effort to spend my time wisely in response to the word of God and the season that we are in. Since the 21 Day Fast with the Burning Hearts Community, I’ve made a deliberate choice to pull myself out from every social media platform. Instead of endless scrolling and overextending my time trying to create content to upkeep my account, I’ve decided to redeem this time to re-focus.

Being an essentialist, I aim to invest my time, talent and treasure only to 3 main focus. I would consider these 3 main focus the core of my life. Being an Essentialist, I am trying to channel all my time, talent and treasure to a maximum of 3 main focus. I call them my centre/core.
