The context of Malachi 1 was written in a period where God's people grew wearing in their religious service in the midst of waiting for the coming of the Messiah who will restore the Kingdom of Israel. The waiting of the appearance of their Messiah caused their hearts to grow weary, to the extent of losing heart and faith to believe the coming of Messiah is even true because of the delay.
The result of that was a people indulging themselves in comfort, complacency and a lack of honour toward God's instructions and His worship. People kept the best for themselves and gave God the leftovers and lame sacrifices in their temple services. Malachi was sent as a Messenger of the Lord to speak to His people how the Lord despise their sacrifices because of their attitude toward God. In the middle of the rebuke, Malachi gave an insight to a future reality (Malachi 1:11) that will provoke the people of Israel. It was a though Malachi was provoking Israel by saying the very God of Israel who gave Israel her identity will be worshipped by the foreigners who will give to God the worship that is fitting to His name and it will put the children of Israel to shame and provoke them to jealousy.
The 24/7 Prayer & Worship expression is not the goal in itself of the movement that God is raising on the earth today. In fact, 24/7 prayer and worship is a by-product of the revelation of the knowledge of Jesus's infinitely greatness and worth. It is a movement that put that worth of His Son on display and we get the privilege to be a part of it.
The night and day prayer and worship movement that God is raising up on the earth today is wounding the very pride of Satan, who was once known as Lucifer. The wounding can only go deeper and stronger because Jesus will never get any less worship from the earth at this very point of your reading. The thing that Lucifer longed for, the worship from Man is now given to Jesus, and the privilege of what Lucifer used to have, is now given to Man whom he tried to separate from God. This is the very wounding of Satan because the witness of Jesus put on display in the nations.
