Supremacy Of Christ
I believe the question that Jesus postedto His disciples two thousandsyears ago is still relevant for all of us today as Christians. In fact, I would say it is one of the most important questionthat every human being will have answerone day. How we answer this question will determine the way we live.
"Who is Jesus?"
Some religion identifyHim as one of the prophets, other equate Him to one of their gods in the among the millions of other gods. If Jesus was to ask the same question today like how He did for His disciples, who is Jesus to you?
Many of us will identify Him as Saviour, some will say He is our King and Lord. I say 'yes' and 'amen' to all these claim, but what is the thing that sets Him apart from other saviours, kings andlords?
Jesus is the only Man in history who was born of a virgin. Jesus is the only Man who conquered death, overcame the grave, and rose from the dead. He broke the curse of sin and destroyed the power of darkness by shedding His innocent blood and presented His broken body on that rugged cross.
Jesus is the radiance of the Father's glory and He is the perfect imprint of His nature. He is the highest revelation of God and what we will become one day. He holds all power to life and death, only He has the ability to judge rightly.
Jesus is the Christ, Son of the Living God. He is the 'Promised Seed' of redemption that will restore and reconcile all things that wasfrom the beginning. It is a title deed that belongs to Jesus alone.
There is coming a day where Jesus will return to restore everything back to perfection, bringing an end to sin, sickness, satan anddeath. Jesus is supreme and beautiful, there will never be another like Him.
